Carmichael is a Graduate of South East Institute of Biblical Studies, Knoxville, TN; Bear Valley Bible Institute, Denver, CO. and the Theological University of America, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He has worked with congregations in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana. He has held Gospel Meetings in 36 states. He has traveled to Malaysia, Singapore, China & Japan. He is the minister and one of the elders of the Grant County church of Christ in Dry Ridge, KY. He is the Mission Coordinator of the Evangelize Kentucky Project, an effort to establish congregations in every county in the state. He is director of the Bluegrass Bible Institute where he also serves as one of the instructors.
